Will my camera work on the Mitton LR1? 
The Mitton LR1 is compatible with the following cameras. The Mitton LR1 triggers the camera through the shutter release port, so any camera with a shutter release port can be used with the LR1, but we advise the camera has a good frame rate per second. There are other cameras not on this list which use the same shutter connections. They will also work with the Mitton LR1.

Will the software work on a Mac?
The Mitton3D Interlace software has been designed for use with the Windows operating system. For newer-generation Intel-based Macs, Windows can be run using a program such as Parallels (www.parallels.com) or Apple Boot Camp (www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/).

Do I need additional equipment?
To carry out a full lenticular photoshoot you will need:

1. A Mitton LR1 (with supplied shutter cable)
2. A camera
3. Two tripods (preferably 3-way pan head with round shoe for ease of use)
4. A computer for the Mitton3D software
5. Printer (high quality for best results)
6. Mitton3D lenticular screen (see www.mitton3d.com/screen_purchase.php)
7. Laminator

Can I take portrait/landscape orientation lenticular image?
Yes. The MittonLR1 is shipped with an L bar to use for portrait images. There are different lenticular screens for portrait and landscape available on the Mitton3D website (www.mitton3d.com/screen_purchase.html)

To reduce weight and complexity the rail is manual, you can either push the camera down the rail or wind it down, which can be very useful for a very small stereo base of, say 6cm with 38 frames over that distance.

The display is the controller box that works out the stereo base, so say you want a length of 20 cm and you require 20 frames the controller breaks up the 20cm into 20 even sections and then triggers the camera at each section. This makes the whole procedure of image capture very fast indeed.
