Will my camera work on the Mitton LR1? . The Mitton LR1 triggers the camera through the shutter release port, so any camera with a shutter release port can be used with the LR1, but we advise the camera has a good frame rate per second.
Will the software work on a Mac? The Mitton3D Interlace software has been designed for use with the Windows operating system. For newer-generation Intel-based Macs, Windows can be run using a program such as Parallels (www.parallels.com) or Apple Boot Camp (www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/).
Is a power supply necessary? The LR1 is powered from a rechargeable battery. Once charged from the mains it will supply approximately 24 hours of continuous charge.
Can I take portrait/landscape orientation lenticular image? Yes. The MittonLR1 is shipped with an L bar to use for portrait images. There are different lenticular screens for portrait and landscape available on the Mitton3D website (www.mitton3d.com/screen_purchase.html)
What does the small box with a display do on the MittonLR1? The display is the controller box that works out the stereo base, so say you want a length of 20 cm and you require 20 frames the controller breaks up the 20cm into 20 even sections and then triggers the camera at each section. This makes the whole procedure of image capture very fast indeed.
